Explore Japanese history and culture as you learn the traditional way to pray at a shrine and visit renowned historical shops that have honed their skills for decades. After the tour, choose a restaurant for lunch from a range of options. Small gift included!

※1 The tour requires a minimum of two participants to be held. If there are fewer than two participants, the tour will be cancelled. Please check the current number of participants before purchasing a ticket for only one person.
※2 Please select a restaurant when you purchase your ticket. Depending on the day, your requested restaurant may not be available. Please contact the organizers directly if you would like to confirm availability ahead of time. Depending on the restaurant you choose, there may be an additional fee added to the original ticket price. (See details below)

If you are interested in joining both the Best of Japan Gourmet Tour and the Culture Experience Tour, please be aware that some shops are included in both tours. We therefore recommend making a custom program with highlights from both tours. Please contact us directly for details.

Lunch Options

Japanese Rice (KOME-show)
In Japan, rice, or “kome,” is a staple ingredient in foods ranging from sushi to sake. At KOME-show, rice is carefully selected from all across the country and cooked until light and fluffy in an earthenware pot after each order.

Menu Contents: Three-variety Appetizer Plate, Small Salad, Tempura, Sashimi, Grilled Fish, Pot-cooked Rice, Miso Soup, Fruit. Includes one drink.

Kushi-age (KUSHI TEI)
Fried skewer dishes, called “kushi-age” in Japanese, have been around since the Edo period and have gained great popularity, especially in Osaka as a local specialty. KUSHI TEI’s dishes are carefully prepared to create high-quality skewers for you to enjoy.

Menu Contents: Fresh Seasonal Vegetables, Homemade Chicken Miso, Side Dish, 4 Recommended Skewers, Palate Cleanser, 4 Seasonal Skewers, Dried Baby Sardine and Japanese Pepper Rice, Miso Soup, Dessert

Belgian Cuisine & Beer (Beer Café Brugse Zot)
At Beer Café Brugse Zot, which specializes in Belgian beer and is one of the only certified restaurants of the historical De Halve Maan Brewery, you can enjoy a wide variety of beers and Belgian dishes.

Menu Contents: Appetizer, Soup, Beer Stewed Beef, Bread, 2 Belgian Beers

Shabu-shabu (Zakuro) ★Premium Option
The highly popular “shabu-shabu” is a Japanese hot pot dish consisting of thinly-sliced beef. Zakuro offers traditional Japanese cuisine using premium beef and only the freshest ingredients for their shabu-shabu.

Kaiseki Cuisine (Sakuragawa) ★Premium Option
Known in Japanese as “kaiseki,” this elaborate multi-course meal was traditionally served to guests before a tea ceremony. At Sakuragawa, Chef Kurahashi brings you a top-class Michelin star restaurant where you can enjoy authentic kaiseki cusine.

Menu Contents: Appetizer, Soup, Sashimi, Grilled Dish, Simmered Dish, Rice, Fruit, Japanese Sweets, Matcha (green tea)

Reservation Procedure

  1. Select the number of tickets you wish to purchase on Peatix. Fill out the reservation form and complete the payment.
  2. The organizers will send you a confirmation message to the email address provided.
  3. On the day of your reservation, show your ticket at the Nihonbashi Information Center by 11:15 and complete the sign-in process.
※If you selected Sakuragawa or Zakuro as your lunch option, please pay the additional fees at the time of sign-in.
※After confirming the lunch option, there will be no refund for cancellations.

About the Nihonbashi Information Center

Concierges at the Nihonbashi Information Center provide up-to-date information about the Nihonbashi, Tokyo area, including information about historical shops, sightseeing spots, and town events. The Information Center also includes the Takumi Shop, where you can buy products from Nihonbashi’s historical shops, and the Ippin Cafe, where you can leisurely enjoy Japanese tea and more. It’s the perfect starting point for exploring Nihonbashi!
